Come along and enjoy free half term activities at Haymarket Shopping Centre.

Mon 21 - Sun 27 Oct
As part of Black History Month, the ‘Made In Africa’ display celebrates the richness of African cultures through arts, crafts, traditional clothing, music, and more. (Located in the old ex-EcoVape unit on Charles Mall opposite Primark)

Tue 22 - Thu 24 Oct
Join Leicester Cathedral for archaelogy and space themed activities in the old Moda unit (opposite B&M) from 10am - 4pm.

Wed 23 Oct
Horrible Halloween Family Fun Day - 11am - 3pm
There will be fancy dress competitions, zombies, witches, facepainting and a craft workshop too. Bella Donna the witch and her chariot powered by Venus Fly Traps will provide the entertainment and dancing. Fun and games from The Intellectual Zombies. Magical interactions with the Wish Witch and her broomstick. Ghoulish stiltwalkers too. Plus, there will be a spot the lot trail to complete for youngsters to win a trick or treat.

Space Centre in the old Moda unit (opposite B&M)
“Mission Europa” - focusing on one of Jupiter’s icy moons. The activities will include:
Virtual Reality
Great Rocket Challenge, where they’ll create their rocket out of card, decorate then launch it with a pressure launcher
Science Demos, including Smells of Space & looking in Ultraviolet
Other crafts and activities will be available too.

Friday 25 October
Haymarket’s Diwali Celebrations
Puppet making drop in workshop and puppet show with ‘Mr Cleavers Monsters’. Clay diva making and glow in the dark mandala art from Kala Arts and student dance from Nupur Arts.

Saturday 26 October
FOCUS presents Haymarket Horrors 2024!
Free family fun day from 12pm - 4pm in the old Moda unit (opposite B&M)
