Christmas Lights Switch On at Haymarket

Join us at Haymarket Shopping on Wednesday 18 November from 4.30pm for an evening of festive entertainment as we count down to our Christmas lights switch on!

Hosted by EAVA FM, the celebrations will feature live music, dance and plenty of Christmas cheer for the whole family.

Enjoy performances from Leicester Central Pathfinders Drum Core, Sambando Drummers, Moving Together Dance Group and Eaga Gospel Choir, alongside an Afro Beats and reggae singer, Christmas songs by Lottie, and singing and dancing from Williams Creatives.

There’ll also be DJ entertainment and games, a chance to meet Santa, and our Candy Cane Stilt Walkers spreading festive smiles.

At 6.45pm, the De Montfort Hall panto team and Santa, along with a young Rainbows Hospice fundraiser, will switch on the Christmas lights, bringing extra sparkle to Haymarket.

Bring the family and help us welcome the festive season!
